Description: For Sale: Antique Wooden treenware (Treen Ware) Hand Turned Wood Miniature Barrel, sometimes called a Canister or Miniature Box c. 1900-1949 This 2-1/2" treenware barrel is 1-1/8" in diameter at top and bottom. This made from med. brown oak burnished wood with some surface wear on the sides of the lid and the bottom. Lid looks as if there was a paper label on top of it and is worn away now except for a small bit. Bottom is just same wood. The lid is 3/4" high and fits perfectly on the bottom, there is a 1/8" chip in the bottom at the top of the rim but it doesn't impede closure, lid fits perfectly on bottom, nice and secure. Bottom is approx. 2" deep and fits perfectly on the lid. Beautiful wood grain. Minor scratching as shown. Thanks for looking. Please enlarge and examine the photos above for details and condition.
