The purse is slightly out of shape, I'm sure from storage/packing, which is not noticeable when it is buttoned closed. The boater hat is very stiff; I don't know if that was done intentionally or if it has stiffened with age. There will be no "give" on the top when you place it on your doll's head. We did it - we downsized!
