Description: Half-plate ambrotype in full case of two women in great dresses, one on the left is holding a closed fan in her lap. They look so much alike I'm sure they were sisters, possibly twins? Case is 6" by 4.75" when closed. The spine has been nicely repaired. Ambrotype is in very good antique condition with some minor age related spotting. Underside of glass is slightly dirty.
