Description: Item Description: This vintage oil painting was done by East Coast artist Hal Singer (1919-2003). The painting is on canvas and measures 30 1/4" x 24". With the gold painted wooden frame it measures 37 1/4" by 31 1/4". There is a small area on the center bottom of the frame where some of the gold paint is missing. This could easily be touched up and otherwise the frame is in great condition. The painting is in excellent condition. Hal Singer devoted his life to painting in 1962. He worked primarily in oil and his main subject matter was mostly landscapes - especially coastal scenes. He referred to his style as soft focus realism. He was represented in galleries throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington D.C., and New York. Hal Singer died in 2003 at the age of 83.
