It boasts a rich fruitwood colored patina with a nicely executed and charming (23 step) distressed finish-- completely original.It has its original label "Guy Chaddock & Co, The Melrose Collection, Bakersfield, CA" on the underside of the seat (see photograph). The manufacturer original list price for this Country English Counter Stool was $2620.MEASUREMENTS: approx. 38" high with 18-1/2" diameter seats (16" inches between the arms). The seat is 24" high.
