These sets are made for an electric or acoustic guitar, and are for both a 24.75" and 25.5" scale. Many of the designs I have for sale will also work for bass (they will be a little smaller in the fret area). All decals come with the transfer tape applied. If there are any extra decals in the pictures, they are to complete a 24-fret guitar. I took pictures of the guitar necks without strings to better show the details of the decals. *Available in 30 colors! *Easy to apply with just a little time and patience. Watching a short instructional video on YouTube may be helpful.*Customize your guitar at very little cost. *They won't damage the fretboard when removed. *They won't affect your guitar's tone, and will not get in the way when playing. *Most sets will cover your guitar's original dot inlays (see pictures). A brown permanent marker will cover the dots on many rosewood fretboards.*The vinyl is made to last years and years!*I took a picture of the vinyl sheet without transfer tape to better show an idea of the dimensions, and to show details of the design. All my vinyl DOES come with transfer tape already applied.*I have been printing/cutting vinyl for personal use for years, and have decided to start selling on eBay. Also, please check back for new designs!****When applying these to the fretboard I like to use removable marking chalk on the actual frets (or a very small piece of painter's tape) to mark off the halfway point. Then you can use that as a guide to always know where the middle of the fret is. It makes it a bit easier, but many people can use the fretboard dots as a guide. I personally applied most of these designs by sight, with no guide. When you receive your decal make sure you go over it with a credit card or any hard plastic straight edge, to make sure the decal is sticking to the transfer tape. In very rare cases a piece may need to be trimmed a bit to fit your fretboard (mainly with the vine designs which are made to fit exact, and certain fretboards are a little different). That is why it is definitely best to cut the decals apart and lay them on the fretboard to get an idea of the placement before you apply them.**
