Description: Gubelin Ipso-Vox Bumper Automatic Ref. 855 Two-Tone 37mm Wristwatch 1960's. This vintage Gubelin Ipso-Vox has a two-tone case measuring approximately 37mm in diameter x 45.7mm long lug to lug x 13mm thick with an 18mm lug width. The bezel is polished gold gilled while the back is stainless steel. The back has scratches, as pictured. The bezel is in great condition. The silver dial has gold stick hour markers, gold hands including a sweep second hand, a date window at three o'clock, an alarm arrow, and is marked "Gubelin IPSO VOX - Automatic - Swiss Made". The dial has light age spots, as pictured. The crystal is in great condition. The inside case is stamped "Acier Inoxydable - LeCoultre Co. - Swiss - 855 - 1139176 - Gubelin Ipsovox". The movement is stamped "Jeager-LeCoultre - Swiss - Fab. Suisse - K825 - 1957410". All screws and jewels appear to be in good condition. The top crown winds and sets the alarm. The bottom crown sets the time. This bumper automatic movement is running and keeping time. The alarm is also in working condition. No guarantee of future performance. The watch has an adjustable brown strap, that will fit a wrist up to approximately eight inches, with a gold tone buckle.
