Text in French. Preface by Jules Cousin. Appendices and bibliography. Frontis initial in red decorated with lovers and dragons, titles lettered in red with a small loss of text to the bottom-left. Initial repeated inside, title page in black and red with dragon illustration. Ink inscription to top right, rough cut edges, the sewn-binding is loose from pp15-34 and the appendix 85-106pp but the pages are still attached, remnants of a sticker to inside front right wrapper, covers in a protected sleeve. A scarce survival of a fragile production, that was evidently a working copy. Yve-Plessis 1002, not in Caillet or Dorbon.
