Both discs offer four soundtrack options -- Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Stereo in English (Dolby Digital Stereo is replaced with Dolby Digital Surround for Gremlins 2), and dubbed Spanish and French tracks in Dolby Digital Stereo. Optional subtitles in English, French, and Spanish have also been included. Both films have also been fleshed out with plenty of bonus material. Gremlins features two commentary tracks, one with director Joe Dante and cast members Phoebe Cates, Zach Galligan, Dick Miller, and Howie Mandel and the other featuring Dante with producer Michael Finnell and special effects artist Chris Walas. Also included are deleted scenes, a documentary on the making of the film, production photos and storyboards, and the original theatrical trailer. Gremlins 2 is enriched with a commentary track from Dante and Finnell, more unseen footage, a production documentary, a selection of bloopers and outtakes, and the original theatrical trailer.
