Description: This really neat, uncommon Japanese post card was sent from Yokohama, Japan, to Corning, New York, U.S.A., on October 20, 1908! The sender was a sailor, Frank, serving aboard a U.S. Navy vessel that was part of the U.S.'s Great White Fleet! The addressee seems to have been a friend or male relative. The sailor was a bit frustrated that the addressee had not written him recently(at that time)! To continue, the pink, 4-Sen, Japanese definitive is in very fine condition! The bilingual, commemorative cancel from the Japanese Post Office in Yokohama is pretty good, but light/faded in some places. Lastly, as for the Japanese post card, itself, it's in fine-very fine shape! It's very clean, and has hardly any wear and tear on it. The images on the front are still very clear! Simply put, this post card is a really attractive, unique piece of U.S. Naval postal history connected to a sailor serving on a warship in the Great White Fleet, and a friend/relative in New York!
