Description: Stellar WW2 4th Infantry Division Tech Sgt M43 Field Jacket. Insignia is machine stitched and very original to the jacket. Thread remnants remain of what appears to be Corporal stripes before Sgt stripes were sewn on. Size 34R but as you know these are cut large for layering and will fit a mannequin nicely. Minor fraying to cuffs and one pocket button missing. No evidence of tag in lower right pocket but this is absolutely WW2 manufactured as it has the OD#3 lining behind the front jacket closure flap. Upper right shoulder has pinned tag that says Spaulding Fair. Possibly the soldier’s name. Unusual to have summer stripes sewn on but I guarantee it’s period done This is a beautiful jacket that I had intended to keep but room has run out.
