Description: Up for auction is a set of 3 gorgeous sterling silver small cups that were made circa 1886. Please, if anyone viewing this listing knows what the intended use for these cups, please contact me so I can add it to the listing. They are gorgeous and perfect. They are small - measure 1 3/4" in diameter across the top and 1" in diameter across the bottom. They look like little muffin cups. The pattern is masterful, but I do not know the name. The makers initials and silver marks are hidden in the pattern. So perfect! I'm sure they fulfilled a need, I just do not know what it was. Check out my other interesting and eclectic items. If you have any questions, please email me. Thanks for looking and good luck. I can mail your item via Priority Mail or USPS Ground Advantage. If your item qualifies, it can be mailed via Media Mail. Your item will be well packed and padded, fully insured and trackable. Payment is appreciated within 4 days of the auction close. I usually ship within 1 business day of cleared payment. Often, I ship on the same day payment is made. Please do not pay until I send you an invoice. Thanks.
