Gorgeous 1940s vintage, composition signed: Mary HOYER doll, lovely knit outfit

Description: For your collection, Beautiful, 14", all composition, c.1946-50, signed across her back in large letters: THE Mary Hoyer Doll with lovely dark brown, sleep eyes and perfect lashes as well as painted lower lashes, brows and eye shadow, closed mouth and nice complexion. Her long soft, thick dark brown wig is original and in excellent condition with soft curls and thick bangs. She wears an original, double-breasted, chevron design, knit ski outfit, made from the original, Mary Hoyer pattern along with a pair of wooden ski, poles and original leatherette shoes with snaps. Designed by Bernard Lipfert for the Mary Hoyer Doll Mfg. Co. of Reading, Pa., circa 1937,Extremely lovely example of this doll in excellent condition. She holds a pose nicely and has no nicks or cracks, no scratches or chips, no crazing or missing paint and no repairs. She has no stains or odors as she is from a smoke free home.
