Description: If you found this listing by searching for a way to access your 2023+ EZ-GO Express L6 Elite controller for diagnostics & programming - YES, this is what you need! ***This adapter may work for other models like the Express L4, S4 & S6, however I have not personally tested them or looked them over in person. I included a photo of the orange diagnostic port in the listing photos - if your port looks like this, then this adapter should work for you as well. I believe this diagnostic port is on all carts with the Curtis AC F2-A & F4-A series of controllers. After purchasing a brand new L6 Elite earlier this year, I quickly realized that the diagnostic port is no longer the old 4-pin molex connector that has always been the standard on golf carts. I called multiple dealers and even they didn't know how to access these new controllers yet. My cart was running 18mph with an advertised max speed of 19.5mph which left me unsatisfied and set me on a mission to figure out how to make this work. Using this adapter, I'm able to reach 30 MPH with minimal adjustments made - there's still plenty more room for additional performance gains, I just don't have a need or want to go any faster than I am now. This adapter connects your diagnostic port on your cart to the DB-9 cable on a Curtis 1313 Handheld Programmer (typically included with purchase of the 1313 but also available for purchase separately). Once connected, you'll have access to programming and diagnostics for your cart's controller. Programming and performance adjustments will vary depending on the access level of the 1313 handheld being used. My adjustments were made using a 1313-4331 (OEM Dealer access level). It should go without saying, but use this at your own risk, I assume no liability for any damage done to a golf cart or with a golf cart. Modifying your cart's parameters can and will likely void any manufacturer's warranty as a result.
