Description: Item Information This listing is for a Heavy Duty Deep Transmission Pan with 2.5 Quarts Extra Capacity for the 200-4R Transmission with 16 bolt pan and a Cast Aluminum Finish. This pan is designed as a heavy duty, extra capacity replacement for the GM stock pan. This PML deep pan fits many models of rear wheel drive cars with the 200-4R, 4-speed automatic transmission. GM used this transmission from 1982-1990. A magnetic drain plug and all mounting bolts are included with the pan. This PML pan works with stock filters. Example part numbers are: AC Delco TF234, Fram FT1057B, Fram FT1057C, Hastings TF60, Purolator P1194, Wix 58896. PML 200 4R transmission pans have filter supports so a filter extension is not needed. The supports cast into the bottom of the pan hold the filter at the same level as the stock pan. The distance from the bottom of the stock pan to the top of the flange is 2.4 to 2.6 inches. The distance from PML filter supports to the top of the flange is the same. The stock filter is about 4.8 inches tall. The PML Deep 200-4R transmission pan has a drain on the driver side of the pan. A magnetic drain plug is included with each pan. A boss opposite the drain is for optional temperature sending units, this can be drilled and tapped to accommodate from 1/8 to 1/2 NPT. This can be drilled by you or by us to your desired specifications for an additional $65 USD machining fee. If the pan or cover you receive is determined to have some kind of manufacturing defect (i.e., machining problem, leak due to porosity in pan wall), PML will replace the part. If you sell your vehicle with our part installed, we will honor the warranty with the new owner. If you run a cover or pan into a boulder and it cracks or is damaged, well, there's nothing PML can help you with there. Modifying our products voids the warranty.
