Description: The GLDC-80 is a military-style mid-power rocket from Bad Boy Rocketry. This rocket stands almost 30 and 1/2" tall when complete and is based on a BT-80 (2.6") airframe. It's 29mm motor mount allows it to be flown on a wide-variety of motors in the F to small G range. This kit is easier to build than our standard kits because of the pre-slotted body tube. This kit is also our first with a built-in payload section which reduces the body-tube volume making parachute ejection that much more reliable. What comes in the box: Plastic nose cone, payload tube, coupler and bulkhead set, pre-slotted main body tube, and 29mm motor tube, laser-cut plywood centering rings and fins, Kevlar shock cord and 1/4" launch lugs. This is a rocket kit requiring assembly and does not come with a parachute or motor retention. An 18 to 24", nylon parachute, screw on motor retainer, parachute harness and Nomex flame protection are recommended, but not included.
