They were made in the Tuscan area of Italy by glass artisans in the 1950's....truly works of Mid-Century glass art. CONDITION: The plates are in EXCELLENT condition. Held to a bright natural light, I see one small use mark on just one of the plates. If there are any others, they're well hidden, due to the "icy" texture on the bottom of the glass. All the gold is intact; I don't see any loss. There are 5 plates available. The listed price & shipping is for ONE plate. I'll be happy to combine orders to save postage. I've collected hand made dinnerware for years. Now I'm liquidating the excess, along with collectibles, antiques, and craft supplies in an effort to down size.
