Description: Up for sell is this 1937 A.C. Gilbert Erector Set 10 1/2 Hudson Locomotive and Tender set. Set has been inventoried and list will be included in the box. Please read in its entirety below. 100% complete all parts. All parts are old and have wear and tear.Please before you bid look through all the detailed photos. Full disclosure: Box was stripped down and repainted and a new outside label was added. Inside lid insert will be coming along with the box however the inside lid insert has been replaced with a new remake. All parts are included in this set however there are a couple that are not original parts. The screwdriver is a nice reproduction "B2" The hank of string is a remake. The paper flag is a remake. There are three manuals as part of this set. There is a 9 1/2 manual and a 10 1/2 Hudson Locomotive and Tender manual. There is the No. 8 Locomotive and Tender manual. The 9 1/2 manual is the original manual. The No. 8 Locomotive and Tender manual is original. This is the original manual that came with the set. AC Gilbert used left over cover for all his manuals early on. Thisbis the 1934 manual with all the 10 1/2 content that went with this set. The 10 1/2 Hudson Locomotive and Tender manual is a remake. I'm throwing this in so you can preserve the original manual. Some of the parts are in the group photos of parts however there are many other parts attached to the insert and or on the train chassis partially built. Ask questions if you have them.
