This instrument is a 1976s Les Paul Deluxe with Large Humbuckers used in a transitional period, with the truss rod cover marked as "Standard", but the model name on the back of the head is written as "Les Paul Deluxe". 3-Piece maple top, mahogany with thin maple sandwiched between so-called "pancake" back bodies, 3-Piece maple neck with volute, and both front and rear pickups have original patent numbers engraved on them. Equipped with the Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, which was changed from the ABR-1 in the previous year, the pegs have been replaced with Kinka's nut-tightening Kluson style and are original.
