These books are in very good condition with some shelf wear to slipcases. Please study the photos carefully for the condition of the slipcases and books. Slipcase 1 (4 Books 1998) Volume 1, The Turn of the Tide, is in excellent condition. Volume 2, Constantine and the Christian Emperor, is in excellent condition. Volume 3, The Revival and Collapse of Paganism, is in near fine condition with small scuff on back cover (see photo). Volume 4, The End of the Western Empire, is in excellent condition. Slipcase is in shelf-worn condition on the outside with superficial scuffs, dings and tear. Inside of slipcase is very tight and clean (see photos). Slipcase 2 (4 Books 1999)Volume 5, Justinian and the Roman Law, is in excellent condition. Volume 6, Mohammed and the Rise of the Arabs, is in excellent condition. Volume 7, The Normans in Italy and the Crusades, is in excellent condition. Volume 8, The Fall of Constantinople and the Papacy in Rome, is in excellent condition internally but has has noticeable scratch to bottom of spine. Slipcase is in shelf-worn condition on the outside with superficial scuffs and dings. Inside of slipcase is very tight and clean (see photos).To ensure the books arrive in pristine condition I have packaged them in bubblewrap to prevent dings. They are then boxed in further protective wrappings. The books are over 4kg in weight so a courier will be used including insurance.
