Description: SEE ALL PHOTOS This beautiful small white/cream dish features a scallop shell pattern. IT IS NUMBERED 6607 on the bottom along with the stamp “ERPHILA Art Pottery Bavaria”. Since it is stamped as Bavaria is leads me to assume it may be dated to the early 1900s; after this point it became a state within Germany. Research shows the following, however it does not imply the date of this piece. You must do your own research. “The Kingdom of Bavaria ceased to exist as an independent nation on November 8, 1918. This was when the Bavarian monarchy was abolished, and the state of Bavaria became a free state that was a part of the newly formed Weimar Republic of Germany. Although King Otto I was technically still the king of Bavaria until his death in 1916, his authority was quite symbolic, and he never had any significant power over the region.” It measures 5 inches x 4 inches across the top, and is approximately 1.75 inches deep.
