This document is hundreds of years old and was used in an abbey as a music manuscript by the monks for hundreds of years. The listing is for pages 495 and 496 (front and back) This document measures approximately 19 3/16" tall by 13 1/4" wide (487mm x 336mm). Condition is good for almost 600 years of age. There is a hole to the vellum as depicted. Discoloration from handling pages over hundreds of years, perforations from the original binding to one side. Some creases and wiggles in the manuscript. The vellum (which is a special sort of leather) is strong and very intact especially considering it's authenticity. Extraordinary surviving example. Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings.
