Description: VINTAGE GENUINE LEATHER MESSENGER BAG LAPTOP CASE CROSSBODY BRIEF CASE WITH PADDED TABLET POCKET Soft smooth grain genuine leather in a gorgeous cognac color. My favorite leather color of all time! Made in Columbia. If you look at the photos of the inside of the bag, it has a zippered padded pouch for tablets that divides two main sections. The compartment section in the front has plenty of room for folders, paperwork, and a place to hold a calculator or phone, credit card slots, with pen/pencil holders as well. Maybe even a subway sandwich. Haha. The back compartment section is for notebooks or laptops up to 13" with a hook and loop fastener on top that holds your computer into the compartment. On the front side of the bag there is a zippered slim compartment located beneath the top flap that can secure things you want in a zippered location just in case the bag gets tossed around. Below the zipper reveals two more sturdy leather pouches that can carry phones, battery banks, etc. Lots of convenient ways to carry stuff in this beautiful sturdy little case. The shoulder strap is long enough to switch from should-carry to cross-body carrying. Just like a messenger bag. The leather on the shoulder strap is intact and not worn or unraveling like you might find on other used leather bags or cases. That's because I probably used this case less than a dozen times. It was expensive and I didn't want to damage it. Finally, the long flap in front protecting the contents within the briefcase snaps into place near the bottom in front with a discreet button snap. I should note that I've only been able to find very minor wear on the bag located at the bottom. I tried to get a good photo of it. It's small and looks like it can easily be resolved. I didn't want to do it myself. I'd recommend a leather smith and it probably won't be much since it's such a small spot. The case is in excellent condition, considering that I've owned it for more than two decades. Probably since 2000 or there about. Not even the stitching seems to be affected. Like I said, it didn't get very much use. Check out all the photos for its condition. I hate to let it go, but I simply don't use it enough and it's time to let it go. I'm the original owner.
