Buying the Styrofoam lined bag wether empty or full costs the same for shipping because it goes by dimensional weight which is cubic inches divided by 166 or 51 lbs The bag will hold 2-5 gallon water cans and 3-50 caliber ammo cans. This works well for shipping but obviously the bag contents can be stored anywhere else you like and the empty bag filled with more items that you care to store. NOTE: this is the last OD cargo bag I have and it has an about 1 inch cut in the fabric Which does not affect the utility of the bag very much. This is a great survival package with very limited availability of the bags and the water cans. The water cans are made by LC industries and are made with HDPE (number 2)plastic which has been Doctor tested to reveal no intrusion of any toxins into the water from the HDPE plastic. HDPE number two is a foodgrade product which is commonly used in milk jugs for example. The ammo cans are in excellent condition. The water cans are surplus items from the army and in very good condition . Some lettering occurs on the water cans and ammo cans. Besides water and ammunition storage these containers are very practical for many other uses such as dry pet food storage, food grains, and other things you can think of.
