Application Tips Excel™ is designed to be applied to your skin, not in the thumb hole of a bowling ball like traditional bowling tape.For best results, always anchor the end of the piece onto a finger or thumb nail.When applying, it's a good practice to bend your finger or thumb slightly, anchor a piece to your nail, then gently stretch back and apply for more give and flexibility during use.If you are cutting a piece of tape, make sure to round the corners to prevent the ends from rolling up. If a piece that's been applied starts to "roll", simply trim and press back down.When layering for fitting purposes, always remember to apply your desired "release" texture on top so it is the one that contacts your finger/thumb hole.Tape, of any kind, is best as a prevention tool when it comes to blisters, cuts and abrasions.
