Description: An interesting option for efficiently dispersing gasses into a narrow opening. Fritted disc is angled (approximately 15° from the vertical) to allow small gas bubbles to rise without forming lots of large bubbles. A complementary bend in the stem returns it to the vertical. This enables use in a narrow vessel, compared to an angled disc, which requires a wider vessel, or to a horizontal disc, which requires a large opening. Please note that the flat end has a chip that you can see in the photographs. We do not think this item is readily available elsewhere, so it seems wrong to trash it for a minor and largely cosmetic flaw.
