Description: This listing is for a mixed lot of four (4) of the popular vintage 1940s-1950s “Big Letter” postcards from various US States & Cities. These cards from a Bay Area estate, as follows: TITLES / SUBJECTS: All generally titled “Greetings from”, they are: #1 - Iowa; #2 - Missouri (Seein’s Believin’), #3 - Mississippi, and #4 - Anderson, Indiana. Each view contains mini depictions of each state’s attractions within the “big letters”. All are classic tourist cards from the era with “linen finish” textures and bright, bold colors. SOLID/DIVIDED BACK: Divided backs. UNUSED/POSTMARK: Three cards posted with stamps attached: 1941, 1943 & 1951; the other (Iowa) is unused. PUBLISHER: All cards are “Genuine Curteich-Chicago (Curt Teich) C.T. Art-Colortone”. CONDITION: Generally Very Good mailed & unposted condition. Slight edge & corner wear. Inscriptions in ink & pencil. Any and all wear typical of age. Please look carefully at all the photos, as they are considered part of the description. All items “as found”.
