This is a manual adapter with no electronics please use M, AV, or TV mode to meter. If the camera does not release be sure to enable ‘shoot without lens’ in camera settings. The built-in optic may degrade the image quality due to adding an element never designed for that lens; as a result, this can cause soft focus, chromatic aberration, image artifacts, etc. If encountered, using a smaller f-stop will minimize these effects.
