Description: LONG WAVE UV Clear and iron stained Fluorite crystals on matrix. The crystals cover two sides of piece and vary in size but they are all small for the most part. It is uncommon to have clear colorless Fluorite crystals and some of these are glass clear. There are many that are iron stained to some degree as well. I cant say what the matrix is but maybe a Limonite for the most part? there is one dark colored crystal that I haven't identified but it might be one of the FE minerals? I picked this one up at a show a few years back with only a small sticker label that read "New Mexico" I have not verified that. These Fluorite crystals have excellent fluorescent response in under long wave UV light, a bright blue. All of the UV images shown were shot using a Convoy S2 long wave UV light.
