Description: My wife handpicked this Favrene vase from her store before she retired. She was a Fenton Gold Showcase Dealer for over 20 years. Thie piece has never been displayed. It has a beautiful blue sheen in the silver that she thought was prettier than the other Favrene pieces that look more silver or gold. It was a Don Fenton Memorial piece made for the Centenial Collection in 2003. Sadly, Don passed away on February 3, 2003. Ten Fenton family signatures are on the bottom along with the #166. Favrene Glass was only made in limited quantities as the pure silver in the formula and the difficulty of manufacturing made it very costly. “Woodlands Edge” is the name of this unusual piece. The color was one of Don Fenton’s favorites. There is a small blemish on the top gold ring around the vase which is not unusual with the Favrene finish. See photo. It is not noticeable at all when the vase is displayed. The vase will be carefully wrapped and double boxed in peanuts for shipping. I can verify shipping for you to find the best rate.
