New Genuine Fender® Custom Cut-Off Telecaster® / Esquire® Vintage Type Half Bridge Plate and a set of Custom Fitted "Angle Compensated" Solid Brass Saddles. I start with a Standard Fender 50's Style “Pat.Pend.” Chrome Bridge Plate that fits all Vintage 60's, 70's, 80's and on up to current Reissues, MIM, CIJ, MIJ, Squier Classic Vibe’s, Highway One's®, Deluxe Nashville’s, Classic Player Baja’s and the new American Special, with (4) mounting screw holes and "Strings thru Body". NOTE: Does not fit the American Standard or American Deluxe. The Screw Spread Dimension is 2-9/16" center to center to the (2) outer-most holes. The String Spread Dimension is the Standard 2-1/8 inches "E" to "E". The Bridge Plate is modified by Cutting it off just behind the Bridge Pickup mounting screw Holes for Maximum picking clearance near the Bridge Pickup. All of the outer surfaces and rim have a shiny appearance, and the inner surface, where the Saddles mount, has a Bead-Blasted Matte finish. This Bridge requires the Tele Bridge Pickup to be “Body-Mounted” similar to the original mounting method used on the 50’s Telecaster Neck Pickup, but with (3) screws instead of (2). “With that pickup in the wood like that, you get this resonance and this fattened-up lower end and low midrange that’s really cool” ~ G.E. Smith I then add a set of Custom Fitted 3-pc. "Angle Compensated" Premium Smooth Brass Saddles. These Saddles have the intonation screw drilled at a slight angle. They allow proper intonation of your Tele's® vintage style three saddle bridge by angling the saddles and establishing the proper string length on all six strings. This is not possible with a stock set of "Straight" Saddles because most often you would need to adjust the saddle to a point halfway between the two perfect settings for each of the strings on that saddle. With the "Angle Compensated" Saddles, that Compromise is minimized or not necessary at all. The center saddle of this set is then Custom Ground so the string elevations can match your Fretboard Radius and the proper angle is ground on the ends so these saddles fit beside each other better with minimal interference. These saddles offer a True Vintage Look and Sound with the appeal of Dramatically improved intonation. Mounting screws are not included.
