Description: Description Fender / American Vintage II 1951 Telecaster Butterscotch Blonde [3.59kg] [S/N V2433815] Introducing the American Vintage II series, a series that reproduces revolutionary classics with extreme accuracy The American Vintage II series reproduces the revolutionary electric guitars and basses that changed the history of music with extreme accuracy. With body shapes, necks, hardware configurations, premium finishes, and pickups that are voiced by era and carefully crafted down to the last detail, this guitar encapsulates the essence of genuine Fender craftsmanship and tone. Just one year after introducing the Broadcaster, Fender received a cease and desist order from Gretsch, which had previously released a product with the same name, forcing them to change the name. In late 1951, the first Blackguard Telecaster(R), inspired by the rapid growth and mass adoption of television, rolled off the production line, and the model has been produced continuously to this day. The simple and groundbreaking Telecaster was the first mass-produced solid-body electric guitar and has inspired many musicians. The American Vintage II 1951 Telecaster features an ash body with a Butterscotch Blonde finish, recreating the tone and feel of the original 1951 model. The 1951 "U"-shaped maple neck features a 7.25-radius fingerboard with 21 vintage tall frets, reminiscent of the playability of the instrument back in 1951. The 12th fret position inlays are slightly closer together, and the Phillips head fastener is located at the truss rod nut, as manufactured in 1951. The three-brass saddle bridge, Fender Deluxe tuning machines, and Pure Vintage '51 Telecaster pickups provide a classic and authentic twang. The American Vintage II is a series for players who love the tone and feel of vintage Fender, faithfully reproducing the guitars and basses that built Fender's foundation. We are reviving guitars and basses that have made music history with modern technology. ■Features ●Ash body ●Gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish ●Pure Vintage '51 Tele pickup ●"U"-shaped neck profile ●Pure Vintage 3-Saddle Tele bridge with brass barrel saddles ●Pure Vintage Single-Line "Fender Deluxe" tuning machines ■GLOSS NITROCELLULOSE LACQUER FINISH Nitrocellulose lacquer, used on Fender guitars and basses in the '50s and '60s, is a high-quality finish that brings out the original tone of the instrument. ■ASH BODY Ash is a wood with a clear, warm tone, characterized by bright highs, clear mids, well-defined lows, and beautiful grain patterns. ■7.25” RADIUS MAPLE FINGERBOARD The 7.25” radius fingerboard provides a comfortable playing feel reminiscent of vintage, and the vintage tall frets make it easy to play with choking and other techniques. ■1951 “U”-SHAPE NECK At the time, Fender guitars had a variety of neck shapes.
