Description: Pair of Francis Calcraft Irish Fox Hunt - Miniature Framed Art Prints in Cherry Burl Frames with Gold Gilded Edges. These are prints of landscape paintings by Francis Calcraft Turner, an early 19th-century painter who died in 1846. They feature wealthy sportsmen on horseback, wearing traditional Fox Hunt attire - black top hats with red coats and white pants, with their hunting dogs - all in hot pursuit. Each frame measures approximately 6 1/2" long by 5 3/4" tall, x 1" wide. The prints measure about 3 1/4" by 2 3/8". The original engravings were titled in reference to The Marquis of Waterford, Henry de La Poer Beresford, and his noble companions, The Noble Tips, otherwise known as the Tipperary Boys.
