Description: Presented is a wonderful antique Chinese bronze travel incense burner, in the form of a lotus bud. The 'travel' aspect comes in to the picture by means of the burner's opening and closing mechanism-- by turning the bud, the petals unfurl to reveal the space to place an incense cone. Really a beautiful piece, with a nice patina to the bronze. This piece is in excellent overall condition. There is some dust, we have not cleaned or polished it to preserve signs of age.
