Description: Big rare flower basket brooch made & signed by the ‘Vogue’ company of New York. I believe this dates to the late 1940’s, goldtone metal could possibly be vermeil but it is not marked sterling so it’s just a hunch. Design is a basket or vase full of unusual flowers perched on thin metal stems. The flowers are made up of multi colored rhinestones, pinks, golds, purples and striped stones are a few examples. This brooch is on the large side, 3” x 2 1/2” and is in very good condition, wear is appropriate to age. There is no excessive wear to the goldtone metal and all stones are present.
