Description: 1949 printing. Hardcover in original price-clipped dust jacket designed by Alvin Lustig under mylar. DJ chipped & stained along outer edges, paper residue on board edges (see photos). Small bit of paper loss at spine base, general scuffing and wear. Looks better under mylar. Strong binding. Gift inscription opposite half-title page. Mild yellowing to page edges with light staining to edges of a few intro pages. Text clean, no notes or underlining.
