Description: Eyes Turned Skyward by Alena Dillan (2022 Paperback). This is the story of two women: Kathy is middle aged and her daughter has just left for college. Her mother, Peggy, has fallen and requires full-time care. The two women have had a historically difficult relationship, and the role transitions from mother-daughter to elderly woman-caregiver are delved into deeply in this book. Peggy also discovers her mother's history as a WASP pilot during World War II--a thing she has never talked about with her children. It's a very relatable story and well told. This edition has an interview with the author at the end. The book itself is in good condition. The only flaw is a bend to the top corner of the front cover (please see photos). It is otherwise intact and unmarked.
