Description: Extremely rare George IV 1826 shilling with the last digit overstruck on a 6 or a 2. This variety is recorded in English Silver Coins as ESC 2410 and rated R3. The top of the 6 is flat and not rounded as on the normal date, the "holes" in the 6 are much smaller, and the 6 is closer to the 2. For information the last image shows the overdate compared with a normal 1826 shilling.Postage To UK address:FREE.Overseas £10 by International Signed For.If you pay by paypal I am unable to post signed for to PO Boxes. I will look to charge you the postage for the first item (or item with the most expensive postage) only. BUT, the postage cost will always be calculated taking total weight into account (NB - if you buy two books it is unlikely that postage can be the cost quoted for the heaviest book only). International buyers - please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or P&P charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.By bidding/buying you are confirming that your country allows the importation of the item I am selling. If you are unsure please check with your country's customs office. I can not be held responsible for items confiscated by your country's customs. Paypal I will not breach any of the Buyer or Seller paypal protection rules. If you are going to pay by pay pal I will assume that you know what these are. Returns If an item (other than a book/pamphlet) is not as I have described, please contact me within 7 days of when I posted the item and we will work it out. The item must be in the condition that I sent it out in, with the packaging that it was received in if claim is for damage in the post, and I will issue a refund once positive feedback has been left. Communication Please either pay or tell me that payment is on the way within 4 days from the end of the auction. Royal Mail recorded delivery If a recorded delivery item is not collected by a buyer from the post office, and it is eventually returned to me by the PO, if the buyer wants the item posted to them again they will need to pay the postage costs first before I can post it. If they want their money refunded, I will do this net of my initial postage costs and any unreturned selling fees. Claims For claims for damage occurred in the post, or for items missing from a package you will need to retain the envelope/packaging, as Royal Mail/Courier will need to see this for a claim to be made and validated and for a refund to be made to you. If you do not retain the packaging it will not be possible for a refund to be made. If the claim is for an item lost in the post, please allow time for Royal Mail / courier to investigate and declare the item missing before a refund can be made. To give you an idea of timescales, Royal Mail will not investigate the loss of an item to UK (signed for or normal post) until after 18 working days from date of posting; to Europe it is 25 working days, rest of the world is 32 working days.
