Both free cheeks and genal spines are present and tightly attached. The inflated, protruding eyes are easily seen, and many of the individual lenses of the compound eyes are clearly defined - this is extremely uncommon. This impressive trilobite is a "fatty" - many Huntonias are long and skinny. The distinct trilobite has excellent natural color and contrast and is wonderfully centered on the large block of marlstone.
