Description: Exquisite Mundia French Porcelain Doll Christine Et Cecile Hanna 20 Inches Tall. Rare, hard to find Vintage 'Hannah' designed by Christine and Cecile for their Romantic Collection that was produced between 1998-2000. Mundia dolls are inspired by Jurneau and Bru French doll producers from 1860-1900, they are renowned for their exquisite collector dolls which continue to be produced using traditional methods and finest materials available. Each individual doll is handmade, therefore unique. Heads are hand painted, bisque porcelain and have glass eyes with fibre lashes and mohair hair. Lower limbs and shoulders are porcelain and the bodies and upper limbs are cloth. Dolls are dressed in handmade, luxurious and sophisticated outfits, as can be seen from Hannah's photo's. Hannah stands 20 inches tall and is complete with her stand. She is dressed in a biege brocade, red and green flowered gown , with a gold lace covered insert to the front and a tiered skirt of dark pink and coffee coloured lace over her netting underskirt. Her beautiful gown is finished with gold braid edging and decorated with jewelled chains. Her outfit is complemented with a gold, lace covered handbag on a chain attached to her wrist, that matches her long gold earrings. Under her beautiful gown she wears white, strapped faux white leather shoes, over her white cotton stockings and white, lace edged pantaloons. Her hair is strawberry blonde, plaited and swept up beneath the handmade ribbon roses on her head band, with long ringlets framing her attractive face. Despite her age Hannah is in excellent condition, she has been displayed but has no signs of wear or fading. She is from my own collection and sadly I have mislaid her box and certificate, which is reflected in the price.
