Description: The chess board functions as it should. The black pieces are really visible on the digital display, as for the white pieces you need to be in good lighting as it's not backlight. The battery compartment was very bad and we bought this unit back to life with a deep cleaning. However even with a deep cleaning there's still corrosion residue that doesn't affect function and most likely will never be cleaned as we did a 10 pass cleaning. The box has tape on it in the sides and the box has the original price stickers.
