Description: Everyday Winter Life in the Forest of Lapland- WinterAlltag im Urwald Lapplands - 1st Edition 1944. A rare and beautifully illustrated vintage book showing the life of the specialized German winter troops on the isolated front in Finland. It contains 37 pencil sketches by the P.K artist Kurt Kranz and a two page epilogue. It is in very good condition and includes the original dust jacket, also very nice. The spine and binding are tight and interior pages are clean. There is a handwritten dedication on the frontispiece dated 1944. The book is 9.5"x9.5". (Please disregard the "Seller Notes" - they are a "bleed through" from another listing I used as a template and I can't get rid of them. They have no reference to the current listing.) I will accept returns on the conditions that the book is other than as described and is returned within 7 days of receipt in the same condition it was sent. Please feel free to ask about any details.
