Description: A bright and shiny vintage Evans purse/compact/ wristlet. Sunburst pattern on outer case. Nice thick mesh strap. It has the original box and yellow pouch, and a gift note from 1954. This purse/ compact opens on both sides. The top part has a mirror, lipstick holder, coin holder, and powder puff and place for powder. It also has a metal attachment to hold a comb— see photo. This is not attached in the case— I’m not sure if it was attached somehow originally. The second compartment opens to show two parts— one for paper money, the other for cigarettes. The size is 3” x 3” x 1 3/4”. Condition: the outside is in very nice bright clean condition. The powder puff is soiled— see photo. The original box shows wear— see photos. The yellow pouch has some soiling, needs to be cleaned. No lipstick in the holder, no powder in compartment. Very attractive purse/ compact that looks like a prop for an older Hollywood movie!
