This connector plug requires two terminals but an extra terminal is included in case you have a mishap crimping or soldering. Total of three terminals included with each connector. This is the harder to find EV-1 connector that was used widely on GM Chevrolet, GMC, Pontiac, Buick and Ford applications from the late 1980’s thru the early 2000’s. This style connector was also used on imports including BMW, Volvo, Saab, etc. The one piece wire seal is easier to install and provides a more reliable seal that the smaller individual wire seals used on other style EV1 connectors. Can be used with a quality 20 gauge or larger TXL or GXL automotive wire. Have you noticed that most EV1 connectors with pigtail wires on eBay use garbage PVC pigtail wire? Look closely at these listings and you will see. With these you can install your own quality TXL or GXL automotive grade wire with which won’t burn to a crisp under high temperatures or dissolve/decay when exposed to fuel and other solvents (unlike the low quality PVC wire you see used with so many connectors being sold).
