Description: For sale is a vinyl record by Eric Clapton titled "No Reason To Cry", originally released in 1976 by RSO Records, with an embossed guitar pick on the front cover. I bought this record set used, professionally cleaned them on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put them into an archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the record. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. According to Discogs.com, this record was mastered by Bernie Grundman. The cover is graded as Good Plus because of a crease in the middle along the jacket's opening, corner blunts, edge rubs, ring wear and paper loss along the bottom of the back cover and the bottom seam. The spine has damage to the corners along with a little color loss from blunts. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "PRC", followed by the matrix numbers PRC-1/PRC-3, indicating that early stampers were used to make this albums at PRC Recording Company's pressing plant, located in Richmond, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers. The vinyl is visually graded between Very Good and Very Good Plus because of superficial sleeve marks and hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip. I'm play grading this record as Very Good because of background noise and occasional ticking, more noticeable between tracks and during the quietest sections of playback, but never over-powering the vocals or music. The record plays all the way through without any skips, pops or lock-ups from start to finish. It's been played on state-of-the-art audiophile equipment while I owned it and still has a lot of life left to it. I have other Rock and Roll records, as well as albums of all different genres, listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
