The bear is beautifully collaged in papers in shades of browns, beiges and terra cotta tones with watercolor and pen. Signed by Eric Carle lower right “Eric Carle” who included the inscription for the bear of “Grrr”, the art sheet is 12.5″ x 9.5″. Original works by Eric Carle rendered using his “Magical Painted Papers” are extremely scarce, yet it was this technique that he used to create all the illustrations in his picture books.Presented newly matted, framed and glazed using all archival materials and UV plexiglass with a deep 8-ply mat.
