Description: For sale is a vinyl record by Erasure titled "Chains Of Love", originally released in 1988 by Sire Records as a 12" 33 1/3 RPM Maxi-Single with 6 Tracks, including 4 re-mixes of "Chains Of Love". The other two songs are titled "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly" and "Don't Suppose (Country Joe Mix)". In the dead wax between the labels and the end of the tracks is etched an upper case "S", with a smaller "R" and "C" inside its coils, followed by etched flowers and bird motifs and the matrix numbers SR-1/SR-1, indicating that this Maxi-Single was mastered by Brian Gardner at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood, California, before it was made at Specialty Records Corporation's pressing plant located in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after my collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, protecting the integrity of the vinyl and any inner sleeve that came with the release. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint, with shiny, bright surfaces in a like-new condition, without any sleeve marks, smudges, surface scratches or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading this Maxi-Single as Near Mint. It plays all the way through without any surface noise, pops, skips or lock-ups from start to finish. The cover is graded as Excellent because of some small creases at one corner on the back cover. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I bought it and still has a lot of life yet. This would make a great addition to a anyone's collection. I have other 12" 33 1/3 RPM Maxi-singles, as well as albums of all different genres, listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
