Moderate rubbing to extremities, slight creasing and scuffing to spine, chipping and light wear to spine head, corners bumped and somewhat worn, front hinge cracked, rear hinge just starting at head, faint offsetting to endleaves. Light toning to interior, occasional later hash marks in pencil to margins, negligible light foxing to a few pages, faint offsetting to pp. ii and iii. * First edition. Cumin, a barrister who studied at Balliol College, Oxford, provides an interesting historical introduction and extensive commentary on this ubiquitous legal text.
