It is desirable that the community should be familiar with the leading facts of this science, that they may be enabled to apply them to the various economical purposes of life. Every science is valuable to the community, in proportion as the knowledge of its facts and applications, is disseminated among the mass of the people. As the number of observers increases, more facts will be accumulated, and the resources of the country developed.”Condition: The front cover is nearly detached. The back hinge is cracked. Approximately one-third of the leather on the spine is missing. The cover is lightly bumped, rubbed, and stained. Pages are toned, foxed, and water-stained. A few missing or turned corners.
