Description: Electra LP Style 2256 Super Rock Single Cutaway Jacaranda Electric Guitar w/Case Description This great guitar is a 1970s 2256 Super Rock, which features a Jacaranda top. Normally these are very dark tops, but this one is exceptionally lighter than usual. These Japanese-made guitars were state of the art in their time, featuring two Super Magnaflux Humbuckers and an LP body-style. The rosewood fretboard is lined with abalone block inlays. Overall it is in excellent condition with only minor cosmetic flaws, and it plays great. The Original Frets are also in very good shape. Very few of these models are ever offered for sale. This one comes in a very cool snakeskin-style hardshell case. It weighs in at 9 pounds, 7.33 ounces. Electra guitars were imported from Japan by Saint Louis Music (SLM) of Saint Louis, Missouri from 1971 to 1984 (most MPC models were made by Matsumoku of Matsumoku, Japan) . Matsumoku has made many popular guitar brands over the years including; Aria, Westbury, Westone, Epiphone, Vantage & Vox to name but a few.
